Her latest and most personal project is Lilith, a supernatural horror-comedy she writes and draws, published by Vault Comics — her debut as both writer and artist on a series. She lives in Austin, TX with her two cats.
Corin Howell is a comic book artist and writer whose work lives at the intersection of horror, humor, and the supernatural. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013 and was later accepted into Sean Murphy’s apprenticeship program, which helped launch her professional career.
Howell’s early credits include Viz Media’s Ben 10: Omniverse Halloween Special and DC’s Bat-Mite. She broke through as the artist on IDW Publishing’s Transformers: Windblade, working alongside writer Mairghread Scott on the series featuring the first fan-created Transformer character. Her expressive, dynamic art style caught the attention of multiple publishers, leading to work on DC’s Wonder Woman: Black, White & Gold and AfterShock’s horror series Dark Red.
At Vault Comics, Howell found a creative home, illustrating the supernatural detective series Shadow Service (written by Cavan Scott) across three volumes, followed by Queen of Swords: A Barbaric Tale with writer Michael Moreci. Her most ambitious project to date is Lilith, her first series as both writer and artist. Published by Vault Comics with colorist Warnia Sahadewa and letterer Jim Campbell, Lilith follows an immortal demon banished from her hell dimension who poses as a fashion model on Earth while secretly preying on humans — until she meets a bookstore owner named Penelope who may hold the key to sending her home. The series blends supernatural horror with comedy and romance, and represents Howell’s fully realized creative vision. The first volume collected issues #1-5 and was published by Simon & Schuster in 2025.
